VetEquine is a devoted team of Equine Veterinarians who operate throughout the Canterbury and Otago regions.

Our main clinic is located at the Riccarton Racecourse in Christchurch, where we have recently installed a technologically advanced surgical theatre. Our second clinic has been recently transferred from Wingatui, to buildings leased from AgResearch in Puddle Alley, Mosgiel, Otago.

VetEquine is staffed by, 4 full time international veterinarians who have a collective 50 years veterinary knowledge, and 3 full time administration and nursing staff. These staff have expertise in thoroughbred and standardbred racing, equestrian medicine, reproduction, dental therapy and lameness. It is our ambition to offer a specialised and dedicated service, therefore we offer a 24 hour service to our existing clients. To complement our medical and surgical experience, we also stock a recommendation of equine healthcare products, ranging from vitamins to disinfectants.
